Solution 1: Reset QuickBooks
- Close and start QuickBooks again
- When the QuickBooks Update Service window is displayed >> click Install Later
- Select Help >> Update QuickBooks
- Choose the Reset Updates dialog box
- Click the Update Now button.
- Click Ok, when the confirmation dialogue appears.
- Once the system is fully updated, you will receive a message saying “QuickBooks updated successfully”.
- Restart the QB program once again
- In case the QB Update message is displayed then choose the Install Now tab.
- The update will be completed successfully.
- Navigate the Employees tab.

- Before clicking on the updates button, make sure that you have checked and marked the “Entire payroll updates” box.

- On the system where the error has occurred download and run ‘PayrollSubini.exe’.
- This tool may need to be run on many systems in case you are in a network environment.
- Click on Employees and select Get Payroll Updates.
- Ensure download entire payroll update is highlighted.
- Then choose Update.
